Master’s Thesis at Atritec – Precision in Every Bit
Want to shape the future of sensor-based measurement systems? At Atritec, we develop advanced software and measurement technology for demanding industrial applications – where precision, real-time and processing performance truly matter.
Atritec specializes in collecting large scale datasets of infrastructure, like road and rail network. For examples look at www.atritec.se.
We’re now looking for Master’s Thesis students for spring 2026. You’ll work closely with our engineering teams in Gothenburg and contribute to projects that have direct industrial relevance.
You’ll be supervised by experienced engineers who are passionate about the same topics as you are – and who will challenge you to think creatively and work hands-on.
Example of thesis topics
• Object identification in point clouds – methods for recognizing objects in 3D point-cloud and image data.
• Automatic sensor calibration – algorithms that can calibrate sensor data to high precision without manual intervention.
• Image stitching from dual hemispherical cameras – creating seamless panoramas from paired image streams from multiple 360 cameras.
• Test strategies for real-time systems – how to best validate stability and performance under realistic conditions
We also welcome your own ideas related to computer science, mechatronics, computer vision, embedded systems or signal processing.
Qualifications
• Completing a Master’s in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• Curious, independent, and practical-minded.
• Interested in sensors, machine learning, real-time systems, precision measurement.
Practical Info
The thesis projects run during spring 2026 and are conducted on-site at Atritec’s office in Gothenburg.
